eero for Business (AWS)

eero for Business (EB) is now available for purchase through AWS Marketplace. Enterprise users who make use of existing AWS services can now directly integrate EB into their existing payment scheme to take advantage of eero features that are tailored for businesses.

The use of EB is tied to unique codes, which provide access to eero’s robust suite of remote network management tools. EB also requires an existing eero network and hardware to properly function. Each license key can be used for a single network. Additional networks require the purchase of additional licenses.

Each license key is valid for a fixed term subscription. Users have the option to add credit card details for subscription renewal at the time the key is redeemed. Software keys are offered in 12 month and 36 month packages. For more information on the products and services offered, refer to our eero for Business FAQs.

Availability and Sign-up

What countries are the software keys available in?

Software keys can be purchased and redeemed in countries where eero for Business subscription services are offered.

How can I purchase software keys through AWS?

eero for Business can be purchased directly from the AWS marketplace by visiting eero’s store page or searching “eero for Business.” Once located, you can specify the desired length of your license by selecting one of the currently available options:

  • 12 months, $199
  • 36 months, $499

The eero EULA can be signed and payment can be processed directly in AWS. Once payment is received, you will be redirected to a fulfillment page which contains additional information you’ll need to get started. You should expect to receive two confirmation emails upon purchase, with one including your software key(s) and the other including the credentials you’ll need to access Insight, eero’s remote network management suite.

How do I redeem a software license I purchased?

EB is a premium feature suite designed to provide additional functionality and remote network management capabilities for eero networks. An eero network (and hardware) is required to use EB. Hardware can be purchased on eero’s website, or on Amazon’s eero page.

Before proceeding, make sure you have an active and verified eero account and network set up prior to redeeming your software license–you won’t be able to proceed without both.

Second, in order to be eligible for eero for Business, you will need to make sure of the following:

Website:

Go to account.eero.com and log in using your account credentials. After logging in, you will be presented with the option to enter your software license key, which will apply eero for Business tools and services to your already-existing network. If you have multiple networks available, select the network from the drop down menu under “Choose Network”.

eero Mobile App:

Open and log into the eero mobile app using your account credentials. There are three ways to edit and manage your eero for Business subscription from within the app.

  • If you purchased your software license using the same credentials used to log into the eero app:
    • Navigate to the Home section of the app
    • Locate the pop up on the bottom section of the screen that reads “Activate Subscription”
    • Tap “Activate Subscription”
    • Enter your Software License key on the prompted screen and tap →.
    • Confirm and/or select the network you’d like to convert a business network.
    • Tap “Activate eero for Business”
      • If you choose to activate later, you can locate the activation flow in the app by navigating to Settings > Account Settings in the eero app.
  • If you already have an eero for Business network and have purchased a software license:
    • Navigate to the Settings section of the app.
    • Tap Account Settings
    • Tap Manage Subscriptions
    • Tap Activate Subscription

Can I use eero for Business if I have eero Plus?

eero for Business is not available for users who are already subscribed to eero Plus. You will not be able to redeem an eero for Business software license key if your eero account is subscribed to eero Plus. If you have eero Plus but you would like to use eero for Business tools to manage your business network instead, you have a few options:

  • You can deactivate your eero Plus subscription and wait for it to expire naturally. For information on managing an existing Plus subscription, see How do I sign up for and manage my eero subscription?.
  • You can apply the EB license to another eero account that you own.
  • You can contact eero support to have your eero Plus subscription completely deactivated to immediately switch to eero for Business.

Are there any network restrictions with eero for Business?

eero for Business only supports NAT mode networks in Automatic mode. This means that eero for Business does not support bridge mode configuration, or the use of manual IP address schemes.

Only eero 6 and newer hardware is supported. For a full list of supported hardware, see Which models is eero for Business compatible with?

My eero network was provided by my ISP. Is eero for Business available to me?

Please contact your ISP to enable eero for Business software on your network. You will likely need a separate user account.

I am an eero Pro Installer or Network Administrator. Is eero for Business available to me?

eero for Business is only available for registered users with a standard (eero or Amazon) account. If you are a pro installer or network administrator, you will need to register a standard, end-user eero account and create a network to use eero for Business.

What is the refund policy for eero for Business (EB)?

In the US, eero offers as standard a 5-day cancellation right (in the case of monthly subscriptions), and a 30-day cancellation right (in the case of longer subscriptions), that applies at the beginning of the subscription, and upon each renewal. Otherwise, except as required under applicable law, our subscriptions are non-refundable. See Section 7 of our Subscription Terms of Service for additional details.

If you purchased EB through AWS, please make sure to contact eero Support directly to request a refund, rather than AWS itself.

I keep getting an error when trying to register my key. Can anything be done?

In the event that a Software Key you purchased is malfunctioning, contact our specialized EB support team at ebsupport@eero.com for assistance.
