To set up eero, you need a compatible mobile device, the eero App, and an active internet connection from your ISP.
Mobile device requirements:
- iOS device running iOS 15 or later, or Android device running Android 9 or later (tablets included)
- Bluetooth 4.0 BLE
- Data connection (cellular or wifi)
Additional requirements:
- eero App from App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android)
- Active internet connection from an internet service provider (ISP)
- Modem or device with an upstream connection to your ISP
- Local phone number for account activation
Note: You can also sign in using your Amazon Account instead of a phone number.
