Yes. eeros can be connected together via Ethernet backhaul, or they can connect wirelessly. If your home is already wired with Ethernet, you'll want to use these connections. They maximize your internet speeds and reduce wireless interference. When connecting two eeros by Ethernet, use a Cat5e, Cat6, or Cat6a Ethernet cable. Not sure which cable to buy? See our article on power adapters and Ethernet cables.
You can connect all your eeros to your gateway eero via an Ethernet switch (with the gateway connected to the modem/ONT), or daisy chain them by connecting each eero to the next.
If hardwiring all your eeros isn't possible, eeros are designed to find the best path to transmit wifi throughout your home.
Can I use Ethernet with eero Beacon or eero 6 Extender?
eero Beacons and eero 6 Extenders don’t have any Ethernet ports, so they cannot be connected to your network over Ethernet. They can, however, be part of a mixed network of wired and wireless eeros.
