The eero 7 is capable of delivering wired speeds up to 2.3 Gbps, and wireless speeds up to 1.8 Gbps, making it well suited for 2.5 Gbps internet plans.

Hardware Details
The eero 7 is a dual-band Wi-Fi 7 router built to provide speed and performance to customers that browse, stream, study, or work at home. It is capable of serving as either a primary router or as an extender for an existing eero network.
Each eero 7 features two auto-sensing 2.5 GbE ports which deliver wired speeds up to 2.5 Gbps, with 2.4 and 5 GHz antennas delivering wireless speeds up to 1.8 Gbps. The eero 7 provides up to 2,000 sq. ft. of indoor coverage per unit and can support 120+ devices.

MLO Support
A new feature of the eero 7 is Multi-Link operation (MLO) support, which can reduce latency and improve connectivity and speed for Wi-Fi 7 devices when compared to standard operation. Combined with Wi-Fi 7 support and eero’s continuous firmware updates, the eero 7 enables home networks to take full advantage of the newest and most powerful wifi technology.

Can I use eero 7 with my existing eero hardware?
Yes. The eero 7 is fully backwards compatible with previous generations of eero hardware, and can also be used together with current eero Wi-Fi 7 hardware, such as the eero Max 7 and eero Outdoor 7.
Does eero 7 work with eero Built-In?
The eero 7 is compatible with eero Built-In on select Amazon Echo devices. Refer to our guide on eero Built-In for more information on how to get started.
What do I need to set up my eero 7?
Similar to other eero products, the eero 7 requires the use of the Android or iOS eero app for setup and network management. When setting up an eero 7, be sure to place the device on a raised, flat surface, away from reflective surfaces like metal, mirrors, or glass. Is eero 7 compatible with eero subscription services?
The eero 7 is compatible with eero Plus, eero for Business, as well as eero for Service Providers.
