Sharing Your eero Data with Third Parties
Under EU law, customers with a network in the European Union have distinct data portability rights, which allow you to share and store your eero data with third parties. You can exercise these rights by using the tools described on this page. The tools enable you to set preferences for sharing your data.
Potential Risks and Consequences
To avoid misuse of your data, we recommend only sharing it with trusted third parties—after reading the privacy notices and policies available on their websites or apps, and understanding their data security practices. After you've shared your data with a third party, eero will no longer have control or legal responsibility over how it can be handled. It is possible that your data may be altered, further transferred, traded, or sold by the third party.
Share Data Directly
You can share data directly with third parties that have integrated with our Application Programming Interface (API) for this purpose. Those third parties will have a button on their website or application inviting you to share your eero data with them.
Select that button to access the secure eero login page. You can share your data once or allow the third party to request data continuously over a chosen time span. After authorizing the third party to receive your data, you can stop transferring data at any time by visiting account.eero.com., Log in and navigate to Data Management. You won’t be able to recover any data you have already shared, though.
Download Your Device Data
Alternatively, you can go to account.eero.com and navigate to Data Management. From there, you can request a downloadable copy of data generated by your eero devices by clicking on “Request your device data.” You'll receive a confirmation email to let you know we've received your request. Once the data is available, you'll receive another email with a secure link to a download page where you can download a copy of your data to share with any third parties. We recommend only sharing this with third parties that you know and trust.
You can also select “Request your personal data” to receive a downloadable copy of your personal data. If you'd like to share any of this personal data with third parties, we recommend only doing so with third parties that you know and trust.
