You can block unwanted devices in the eero App. Blocking disconnects the device and prevents it from rejoining your network, even if the correct password is entered.
How do I block a device?
- Locate the device under Devices in the Home tab, or search for it on the Devices tab
- Tap the device's name
- On the Device page, tap the
(more options icon) in the top-right corner
- Tap Block device
How do I unblock a device?
- Locate the device in the Blocked section of the Devices tab
- On the Device page, tap the
(more options icon)
- Tap Unblock device
What happens when I block a device?
If the device is online when you block it, it'll immediately lose its internet connection and display an error when attempting to browse. Blocked devices appear in a new list at the bottom of the Devices tab.
Note: Device blocking isn't available on eero networks in bridge mode.
