How do I block unwanted devices on my network?

You can block unwanted devices in the eero App. Blocking disconnects the device and prevents it from rejoining your network, even if the correct password is entered. 

 

How do I block a device?

  1. Locate the device under Devices in the Home tab, or search for it on the Devices tab
  2. Tap the device's name
  3. On the Device page, tap the More Options (more options icon) in the top-right corner
  4. Tap Block device

 

How do I unblock a device?

  1. Locate the device in the Blocked section of the Devices tab
  2. On the Device page, tap the More Options (more options icon)
  3. Tap Unblock device

 

What happens when I block a device?

If the device is online when you block it, it'll immediately lose its internet connection and display an error when attempting to browse. Blocked devices appear in a new list at the bottom of the Devices tab.

Note: Device blocking isn't available on eero networks in bridge mode.
