On September 28, 2022, we’re simplifying our subscriptions for our retail customers and moving to only offering eero Plus, formerly known as eero Secure+. Starting on this date, new retail subscription customers will only be able to purchase eero Plus.
eero Plus includes all the same features our customers know and love from eero Secure+, like advanced parental controls, network insights, DDNS, Malwarebytes, 1Password, and Guardian VPN. We're also adding premium wifi features beyond security to eero Plus, such as the recently announced eero Internet Backup, which will be available in the coming months and will allow you to use an alternate internet source (like a mobile hotspot) as a backup connection when your internet service is down.
eero Plus is available for new retail subscription customers in the locales where eero currently supports retail subscriptions. For new US and UK customers, eero Plus will be priced at $9.99 / £9.99 per month or $99.99 / £99.99 per year as of September 28, 2022. For all other regions outside the US or UK where eero sells eero Plus, eero Plus is currently the same price as eero Secure+ was previously.
Customers who have already subscribed to eero Secure+ before September 28, 2022 will continue to be charged their original subscription rate and we’ll have more to share on the rebrand soon. eero Secure+ customers will also start to see the rebrand reflected in their transactional notices from eero, within the eero app, and on other materials soon.

How does the rebrand to eero Plus impact eero Secure customers?
We are simplifying our subscription offerings and moving to offering a single premium service called eero Plus. eero Plus will be the only retail subscription we offer for purchase starting on September 28. You can read more about how this impacts US eero Secure customers here.
How does the rebrand to eero Plus impact customers with trial subscription plans?
Customers currently experiencing eero Secure or eero Secure+ through a trial will continue to be able to do so, but will not be able to purchase eero Secure after September 28, 2022. Customers can purchase eero Plus (formerly eero Secure+) after this time, if eero supports it in their region.
How does the rebrand to eero Plus impact eero Secure and eero Secure+ customers outside the US?
There are currently no impacts to price or service to announce for non-US customers, other than the rebrand to eero Plus and the purchasing of eero Secure being discontinued. Customers who receive eero Secure or eero Secure+ (now eero Plus) directly from a third party (such as their ISP) are subject to the availability, fees, and charges enacted by that third party.
Can I try eero Plus before I purchase it?
As of September 28, 2022, eero offers customers the ability to access eero Plus free for 30 days. After that period, eero Plus automatically converts to a paid subscription. Customers who do not want their plans to automatically renew should cancel at least 24 hours before the 30-day period ends. Learn more here.
Will these changes affect me if I am a Ring Protect Pro customer?
No, if you have access to eero Secure as part of your Ring Protect Pro subscription, you will not be part of the transition from eero Secure to eero Plus outlined here and will continue to be able to access eero Secure features as part of your Ring Protect Pro subscription (subject to the availability, fees, and charges enacted by Ring).
