How do I use Network Nicknames?

A Network Nickname is a custom label that helps you distinguish between multiple networks in your eero app. For example, if you have a guest house with its own network, you can name one "Guest House" and the other "Main House" — even if both share the same SSID.

How do I set up Network Nicknames?

To set up a Network Nickname:

  1. Open the eero App, and tap the Settings tab in the bottom-right corner
  2. Tap Nickname & location
  3. Set a nickname for your network
  4. Tap Save when you’re ready

 How do I switch between networks?

You'll see each network's nickname underneath its SSID. To switch between networks:

  1. Return to the Settings tab
  2. Tap the No alt supplied for Image (more options icon) in the top-right corner
  3. Tap Switch network
  4. Tap the network you’d like to view
