You can't turn off Profiles entirely, but you can delete individual profiles one at a time.
When you delete a profile, all devices associated with it become unassigned. Any scheduled pauses will be removed, and paused devices will be unpaused.
Note: The Unassigned profile (added in eeroOS 7.12.4) cannot be renamed or deleted.
How do I delete an individual profile?
- Open the eero App, and tap the Home tab
- Select the profile you wish to delete in the Profiles section
- In the Profile page, tap the
(more options icon) in the top-right corner and select Delete Profile
- A prompt will pop up asking “Are you sure you want to delete this profile?”
- Tap Delete Profile to confirm
How do I remove scheduled pauses from a profile?
If you’d like to keep the profile but delete a scheduled pause, follow these steps:
- Open the eero App, and tap the Home tab
- Select the profile you wish to edit in the Profiles section
- Tap the name of the scheduled pause you’d like to delete
- Scroll to the bottom, and then tap Delete schedule
- A prompt will pop up asking “Are you sure you want to delete this schedule?”
- Tap Yes to confirm
How do I unassign a device from a profile?
If you just want to remove an individual device from a certain profile, follow these steps:
- Open the eero App, and tap the Home tab
- Select the profile you wish to edit in the Profiles section
- Scroll to the bottom to see the list of devices associated with this profile
- Tap the name of the device you want to remove
- On the Device page, tap Profile
- Tap Remove from profile
- To assign the device to a different profile, tap the profile name or tap Add a Profile to create a new one
