Our support ticketing system will be undergoing maintenance between 3/22-3/24/25 as we perform essential maintenance to improve our services. While our phone support will remain operational during this time, customers may experience longer than usual hold times.

What is Dynamic Frequency Selection?

Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) allows eero to operate in channels shared with RADAR that are typically much less congested than other 5 GHz channels. Less congestion means better performance and reliability for your network.

How do I enable DFS?

DFS is automatically enabled on eero networks running eeroOS v3.19 and higher. Your network will check channel conditions regularly and shift to the least congested channel when necessary.

Do I need to do anything on my devices to use DFS?

No, your devices will automatically use the channels set by eero.
