Invite to Subscribe

Pro installers may invite both new and existing customers whose networks they manage to subscribe to either eero Plus or eero Business, where applicable. The process for inviting new versus existing customers have been organized into two key scenarios:

  • Post-Setup Subscription Offer: After a Pro Installer completes network setup and transfers ownership to the customer, they will be prompted by the app to offer a subscription.
  • Upgrade Existing Network: Pro Installers may select from any previously set up network in their Managed Networks list to initiate a subscription offer.

Installers can utilize the eero App to generate referrals that will be automatically sent to retail customers they manage. These referrals can come in the form of a scannable QR code, a shareable link, or a direct email.

Inviting customers to subscribe is easy and can be done entirely through the eero App.

Option 1: Post-Setup Subscription Offer

  • Once a customer’s network has been set up and transferred to their eero account, the installer’s App will automatically prompt them with an option to offer a subscription:

  • Selecting Upgrade network will take the installer to a screen allowing them to choose between an eero Plus or eero Business subscription to offer the customer:

  • Tapping on Compare plans will display a side-by-side comparison of each subscription:

  • The app will display a QR code that the customer can scan with their phone to complete their purchase:

  • The App will open a “share interface” to send a direct link when Share link is selected.

Option 2: Upgrade Existing Network

  • Select the network for the customer you wish to invite from your Managed Networks list
  • Tap the ios15-more-icon-gray (1).png menu and select Upgrade Network to access the main subscription selection screen shown above:

Note: If needed, installers can resend the link as an email, QR code or direct link by tapping on the ios15-more-icon-gray (1).png menu if an invite has been previously sent.
